• 1lb ground beef
  • 1/2lb ground or italian sausage
  • 2 cups ricotta
  • 1.25 cups no sugar crushed tomatoes (Drained!)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups mozzarella
  • Pepperoni

Directions:

  • Preheat oven 350°
  • Cook meats, drain, place in casserole dish
  • Combine 2 eggs w/ ricotta and smooth it atop meat
  • Add 1.25 cups crushed tomatoes (more or less)
  • Top w/ 2 cups mozzarella Sprinkle Italian seasonings, garlic & onion powder
  • Add pepperoni
  • Bake for 30 minutes
  • Cool for 15

  1. Nice… Could not get italian sausage so I just skipped it. I mixed my spices straight in the meat and was perfect! TY!

    • I make it without sausage at times. It works great but just ground beef needs some garlic and onion powder, ideally, to make it more interesting. Glad you liked it Leif!
